I am writing this summary BEFORE we watch and review the episode. It’s the only John Frankenheimer episode of TFTC and here is my (Phoenix) prediction: it’ll still be terrible. Directing doesn’t matter on this show when the stories are so lame. In 10 hours I will finally find out what the Frankenheimer episode is like and I just know it’s going to bum me out.

Anyway, we attempt to get around the racism and magical elements of this episode to enjoy the rest of it and mostly succeed. Oh, there is a reason Phoenix goes off on Jansen but it won’t be revealed until the ending of episode 204.

This episode contains the most sinister villain of Twilight Zone history and she’s only 10 or so. She’s more evil than Fake Castro. More evil than the nazi in Deaths-Head. She puts Talky Tina in the closet and pulls out whatever the hell this dummy is. That’s really about all there is to enjoy in this episode so we mostly discuss her. Yay for our 200th episode!
