This episode tackles the worst parts of life. Depression? Check. Capital punishment? Check. Angry vengeful mobs? Check. Racism? Big fat check. Child homicide? Tiny check. Fraud? Check. Magic? Check. Drugs? Check. This world is terrible. Listen and Phoenix https://twitter.com/phoenixwest and Frank https://twitter.com/LlNKZ talk about the depressing Sheriff Sheriff and his sad views on life, the fat man that sells a child some angel dust, Phoenix tells a short story from film school about having to hang an actor without killing him, the worst translation scene in history and much more. Much depending on your definition of much.
47: The Night Of The Meek (211)
It's always nice to be able to root for your town drunk. In this cheerful Christmas story pulled from the gutters, a drunk wishes to become Santa Claus. Then he does just that. Apparently it's a very simple request. Also, a cop and a store owner develope a very happy, public, gay relationship which actually seems like a harder request in 1960. Phoenix https://twitter.com/phoenixwest and Frank https://twitter.com/LlNKZ discuss what this all means.
46: A Most Unusual Camera (210)
Every single anthology series has a story about a camera or painting that can predict the future. Spooky spooky and so on. This one is for some unknown reason, a 'comedy'. It features the stupidest characters in television history. A 60 year old small time crook. An annoying blonde female with the voice of Harry Fierstein on helium. A giant, child-like moron recently escaped from prison. A truly evil bellhop. Also features a camera. A most unusual one.
45: The Trouble With Templeton (209)
Frank couldn't handle this simple plot. Phoenix liked this episode for some reason. This could be the most divisive episode yet. In reality it was just alright but the two go off on many different subjects and many different TZ episodes before finishing this podcast. Enjoy?
44: The Lateness Of The Hour (208)
Fuck this fucking episode. It was shot on video and looks like shit. The plot is shit. The actors are shit. The twist ending is shit. Shit...
43: Nick Of Time (207)
In this gripping tale of domestic violence and gambling addiction, Shatner gets minor advice from a mystic seer. By that I mean a countertop toy on a small town diner booth. His poor wife has a lifetime of bankruptcy ahead of her. Luckily she won't be allowed to have an opinion on it though. He simply won't allow it.
42: Eye Of The Beholder (206)
Frank and Phoenix discuss perhaps the most popular TZ episode of all time. They do not agree with the IMDb rating at all. It's a fine episode but the premise is stretched to a Goodfellas onion level of thin. Only in that movie they make a delicious Italian meal. This episode provides an obvious ending without much follow up. The major problem with this episode is that 18 minutes are spent concealing and then revealing pig doctors and then the remaining few minutes reveal a fascinating Pig-Hitler world which is genuinly interesting. But then the episode ends and we are left with credits instead of seeing the world Pig-Hitler crafted. Opportunity wasted.
41: The Howling Man (205)
The Howling Man stars a bunch of monks facing off against a stupid man. This is biblical allegory through and through. Did you know pillars make you change into the devil? It's true! Frank and Phoenix discuss this overrated episode while attempting to figure out why it's so revered.
40: A Thing About Machines (204)
Phoenix and Frank discuss A Thing About Machines. Is this main character an asshole or is he driven insane by the machines? Which came first...the asshole or the machine? Anyway, this episode is stupid. Really stupid.
39: Nervous Man In A Four Dollar Room (203)
The only time you can get a four dollar room nowadays is if you rented 10 minutes at the Jizz-N-Go Hotel. You now have HIV. This episode should have been stupid and boring but great camera movements and tricks made it fun to watch. Kudos, dead crew of The Twilight Zone. Kudos.
38: The Man In The Bottle (202)
Are genies allowed to decide how many wishes to grant? Sure as hell seems like it. Also, why do they want to go back in the bottle so bad if they are aware of time passing. Sounds like hell. This is an actual bottle episode of The Twilight Zone. OH NO, I'M HITLER! www.LIWstudios.com
37: King Nine Will Not Return (201)
In this episode, Phoenix is joined by Frank Linkz to talk about the unnecessary episode, King Nine Will Not Return which features a sweaty actor screaming names in the desert. That's about it.

36: A World Of His Own (136)
In this episode Phoenix West talks about the psychopath main character of this episode, Mr. Greggory West. Are the two men related? We may never know. What do you call a man that creates women just to fuck, make him drinks and then when they start having free will and thoughts of their own he throws them into the fire? According to Rod Serling: a romantic. According to Phoenix West: a dangerous psychopath. What do you think?
35: The Mighty Casey (135)
In this episode, Phoenix talks about how robots can totally be programmed to smile. Yes they can! Don't argue with me. Also, using robots to pitch in your professional baseball game is bullshit. It's cheating. Call it what you want. I call it cheating.
34: The After Hours (134)
This episode of The Twilight Zone can be solved in minutes. In this episode, Phoenix discusses the amazing possibility that Marsha wasn't really a mannequin but was instead schizophrenic and pretending to be a mannequin at the end. I want to watch that episode more than the actual episode.
33: Mr. Bevis (133)
In this episode, Phoenix has a debate as to whether or not Mr. Bevis was in fact literally a retarded person or not. It's not entirely clear. Watching one terrible thing after another happen to him is much sadder when seen through that lens. At any rate, zither music is not music you should have an active interest in.
32: A Passage For Trumpet (132)
In this episode, Phoenix talks about how Joey makes being an alcoholic seem like a great lifestyle... that is quickly ended via suicide because a guy is going 120 in a truck on a downtown street. But in the meantime, a glorious drunken life is great.
31: The Chaser (131)
This episode attempts to come off as a quirky twist of fate but the reality of it is a rape fantasy in which a woman's life is eternally ruined. Seriously, go watch it again and keep in mind he drugs her drink and then impregnates her while she's under the effects of the drug. It's fucked up.
30: A Stop At Willoughby (130)
In this episode, Phoenix talks about how flat this episode is. It isn't bad, it's just missing a piece. It is about Gart Williams, yes, Gart... and how he wants a simple life instead of a push push push lifestyle. Also, his wife is an enormous cunt. Suicide is painless. It brings on many changes. And Gart can take or leave for Willoughby if he please. Pleases? Pleasi? Pluse? Whatever.
29: Nightmare As A Child (129)
This is a real molest-y episode. By that I mean, it could have been if things went differently. But seriously, this is one of Phoenix's favorite episodes of the series. Watch this TZ episode before you listen to this podcast! Seriously. It's an awesome episode of TZ.
