The first 15 minutes of Chutes And Ladders was boooooooring but it got much better once Evan Peters took over. We are again without Brent but he will be back next week so don't cry. We discuss how they show too much fake sex in this show, the questions aren't answered that should be and then we speculate on how much we will like the show in the future.

We started season 5 of American Horror Story and holy shit is it weird/confusing/boring at the same time. We had to run the show without Brent but we had a lot of fun discussing anal raping, Lady Gaga's eyebrows, Wes Bentley's boring performance and other things that are involved with stories, horror and America.

Phoenix got LASIK this week and was bombarded with quotations about it. In this chapter Michone nails a dick to a board. That should be enough to scare you off but she does more terrible shit in revenge. This issue is insanely linear so it's hard to describe without sounding bored. Phoenix does his best though. That's why this episode is so short. Totally give it a listen though, it's funny.

In this chapter, the Governor is introduced and immediately gets into the business of raping. Phoenix won't touch that subject though. Nope, he won't force his way into the topic. The topic doesn't want to be discussed. Your ears don't want to be hearing about it. Phoenix will not force his way into your ears or any other orifice for that matter. Anyway, this chapter has an awesome quarter back sneak of a twist to it.

Phoenix West reviewed the episode titled JSS and couldn't be more pissed about the title. Was it an attempt to be clever? Does it stand for JeSuS? Is it code for the Wolves? Who knows? That makes Phoenix very mad. If you're going to title the episode that, at least answer the question within the episode titled after it. Dildos. Phoenix also discusses how much he's starting to hate the following characters: Morgan, Carl and Ron. They could all die and the show would be better off for it. Sounds like Phoenix hates the show but he really doesn't.

This chapter has the 22 page fight scene you've been waiting for...wait...no it's just between Rick and Tyrese. I didn't want to see them fight at all. Phoenix covers chapter 4 of The Walking Dead comic in a classy fashion, complete with plenty of cursing and racist questions. This chapter has the best ending to a chapter so far. Love it.

The second in a failed attempt at an NBA review show. Turns out, it's really boring talking to yourself about sports. You have nobody to argue with. Nobody to do what-if scenarios with. What was the point of this show? What happened in the middle of October, 2015 that warranted a show? The season wasn't even going yet. Guess you'll have to listen to find out. You probably shouldn't though.

This failed show managed to get 4 episodes out of it. I had no problem continuing it but it wasn't the greatest show (it's fun) and they pump out over 20 a year so it was too many for my schedule and interest to talk about. 173 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 10 - The Walking Dead Comic - Chapter 3 - Safety Behind Bars
All hell breaks loose in this chapter. Hershel's problems get way worse. The race wars have begun. The quest for gasoline has swept over the barren Australian landscape...wait...that's Mad Max. This chapter has it all: decapitation, sex, zombies, more decapitation, a few more zombies, old man sex and two 8 year olds fall in love. It was all over the place but it was amazing.
172 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 9 - The Walking Dead Comic - Chapter 2 - Miles Behind Us
Phoenix can't stop talking about exactly how much sperm Shane deposited inside Lori, Rick's wife. Also how unhygienic fucking in the woods is. If there were a competition between the comic and TV show about the appropriate amount of time to spend on Hershel's farm, the comic wins. There is a lesson to be learned: don't be one of Hershel's kids.

While attempting to remember past seasons of The Walking Dead TV show, Phoenix said fuck it and decided to just reread the entire comic series again. In an effort to not let it go to waste, he decided to do a review on the comic as well as the show. He compares the first chapter of the series with the TV show in a way that only he can.
168 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 10 - Judgment Night (TZ 110)
In this episode, Phoenix loves the way the main character talks and proceeds to do impressions of him at every chance he gets. He also loves the line "But sir, there were people on that ship...women too." Because women aren't real people. Goddamn right, apparently. 1959 sure was a different time. Anyway, this episode is predictable as hell but isn't terrible. Let me know what you think.
167 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 9 - Perchance To Dream (TZ 109)
In this episode, Phoenix discusses at length how this was a bottle episode of TZ. He also loves how much the psychiatrist doesn't give a single shit about his patient. He literally just stares off into nothingness during the session and chimes in with, "That seems perfectly normal." He must have gotten his degree from the School of the Half-Listening.
169 - TINM! - 53 - "This Ice Cream Is Too Frozen. Africa Sucks!"
In this episode, Phoenix discusses his recent trip to Out Of Africa, a zoo north of the city of Phoenix. He saw lions and tigers and bears...no. Not doing it. He did a zipline ride and fucked it up pretty badly. He also saw a show where the performers pretended to be attacked by tigers. They were real dicks. All of it worked because Phoenix kept forgetting that he wasn't really in Africa.
166 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 8 - Time Enough At Last (TZ 108)
Phoenix watched Time Enough At Last and had a lot to say about the surrounding characters that back up Burgess Meredith's character Henry Bemis (who may or may not have Aspergers). Phoenix also relates his reading obsession with being a word junkie. Why is everyone around him a horrible piece of shit? Seriously? They're downright 'doggerel". Phoenix explains it all in this episode.
165 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 7 - The Walking Dead - 601 - First Time Again
It's time for a new season of The Walking Dead. Which means, Phoenix already completely forgot how last season ended. After looking it up, he fully relates to the characters, by that we mean that he hates how every decision that Rick makes is bitched about by everyone no matter how much sense it makes. Carter is a terrible character played by an awesome actor. Screams like a bitch though.
