Hitler didn't buy GEAR'D so obviously you should...

We were joined by the beautiful Patrick Tracy today when we recorded The Phoenix West Show episode 58 (titled, Sometimes Life Sucks...) and he talked about his new book, Gear'd, which you can get for free on Amazon for your Kindle or Kindle app. Phoenix read it and enjoyed it so it gets his royal seal of approval. Go get it for free here:

The Green Toyle

I make a lot of side-by-sides of similar movie posters or other random ideas. Then I share those with Twitter or Facebook. Or, in this case, I make the image then put it away in a random folder and forget about it. My theory in this picture is that I couldn't tell which movie poster contained a more fake looking plastic Tom Hanks. The weird part of this is that one of these movies contains a real life Tom Hanks and the other is an animated toy. The posters would lead you to believe that Woody was the star of The Green Mile.

Mickey Rourke's goddamn hair.

I stumbled upon an old Tweet I made and it confused the fuck out of me so I did some research. I completely forgot that Mickey Rourke (the melting man) boxed a dude about a year ago. Even more amazing was the fucking hair on his freaky head. It reminded me of someone...

LIW gets political.

After seeing the image of republican presidential hopeful, Ben Carson's wife, Phoenix recognized a similarity between the two of them and a classic LIW Movie Review episode.... Share this image if you're a horrible person like Phoenix West is...

LIW T-shirts are now available!

Hey guys, now you can buy an OFFICIAL Loitering In Wonderland T-shirt. Now you can ditch that bootleg shirt that a shady dude sold you in an alleyway. New alternate posters for all 7 shows!

Just completed making posters for all 6 LIW shows. I'm not sure what we will do with them quite yet, they were mostly made to cure boredom but they were hand-made and digitally 'enhanced' so let us know what you think! They will probably just appear on the YouTube video versions of the podcast and on this site. -Phoenix.

Round 2 of LIW Live was a success.

Phoenix West and Brent Puccio hit the stage on 8.11.15 at a bar by the studio! It was amazing. Thanks for coming out and seeing us.

I hate fake IMDb reviews...

Phoenix here. Just watched Awakened and was appalled by how bad it was. The following is an IMDb review about the movie on the message boards. The scene in question consisted of Edward Furlong yelling at an actress while he's in a mental institute. Keep in mind in this scene Edward Furlong is wearing a t-shirt, un-buttoned shirt over that and torn jeans below that while he is being held in the institute. This is lazy/poor filmmaking. However someone loved this shit...

LIW pitches a television show.

Posted this before but it got lost in the shuffle. This image was originally made for my book 100 Things That Will Burn In Hell (which you can buy in our store!) but I fitted it for the whole Duck Dynasty homophobic debate that happened a while ago. So, enjoy it again!

The Phoenix West Show! logos.

Hello citizens, just finished making the logos for the newly revamped The Phoenix West Show! Remember how we said it merged with The Incredible Negative Men!? Well with that merging comes a new look and I spared no expense. By that I mean I took a photograph of me standing at a podium at the Arizona Science Center. Which my tax dollars pay for so yeah I paid for it okay?

Changes to our line-up.

Attention citizens: shit is happening here at LIW. Or more so...not happening. We shut down production for a bit in order to tidy everything up. With that being said: we are almost back. The changes are The Incredible Negative Men! is now going to merge with The Phoenix West Show. So now expect The Phoenix West show to be a weekly discussion. TINM! name is no more. Next change: Loitering In Wonderland will now be a monthly show. This is so the show itself can be better. We were spreading ourselves a little thin and it was starting to become a job instead of fun. But now they will be events as opposed to horrible horrible work! Next change: we introduced LIW Improv Theater and didn't follow it up with any actual episodes...well...they are coming eventually. I want to stockpile them before releasing any so be patient and they will be awesome! Last change: I am going to do the same stockpile and release with my new show The Twilight Zone Episode Review. The premise is simple: I love The Twilight Zone and I'm going to review every episode in order. This show will have no schedule and will be released whenever they are made.

So the lineup is as follows:

  • The Phoenix West Show (weekly on Monday)
  • Loitering In Wonderland (monthly on the 1st)
  • LIW Improv Theater (weekly on Monday and Friday)
  • The Twilight Zone Episode Review (sporadic)

Thank you for being patient and sexy.

Meth scale for your convenience.

I know the meth epidemic has been hard on some folks. I also know that a lot of people don't have the know-how to spot a meth user. So, keeping with my lifelong motif of helping others while insulting specific others at the same time; I've made this chart. These 4 men used to pretty much look the same but time has changed that and now we get to benefit from it finally. Think your child is using meth? This chart will tell you how far along in the process your child is. You're welcome. - Phoenix West

P.S. - By the looks of this scale you could almost argue that the more you use meth, the more successful you will be.
